A Dental Clinic Near Redeemer University

Redeemer’s Wellness Centre in Luther Court looks after your general health, but it does not provide dental care. For that, students head into Ancaster, and we are the closest clinic to campus.

We are at 57 Wilson Street East, a short drive from Redeemer’s Garner Road campus, with free parking right outside. If you do not drive, the trip is easy by bus or a quick ride share, and we can work around your timetable.

That means everything from a first checkup away from home to a chipped tooth the night before an exam is handled a few minutes down the road.

Redeemer Student Dental Insurance

Redeemer does not run a student dental plan the way some larger universities do, so how you are covered depends on your situation. Most students fall into one of three groups, and we handle all three.

Your situation	How it usually works	What we do
On a parent’s plan	Most Canadian students stay on a family plan while in full-time studies.	Bring the policy details and we bill the insurer directly, so you pay only what the plan does not cover.
International or US student	Redeemer enrols you in a health plan automatically, though dental coverage varies by policy.	Bring your policy and we check exactly what applies before any treatment.
No dental coverage	You may qualify for the Canadian Dental Care Plan, now open to eligible adults 18 to 64.	We are a CDCP provider and can tell you whether you qualify.

After explaining my situation of loose upper right wisdom tooth that's swelling making it impossible to chew, she got me in for 8:30. Drove in before 8:30, did some minimal paper work and had my tooth extracted and left before 9:00, as I had
my son to give a ride to work at 9.
I recommend this Wilson East dental office highly.
